Mary Margaret Traxler, founder and publisher of the Greater Charlotte Hospitality News, was an unstinting supporter of the Community Culinary School of Charlotte.
“She was a gregarious friend of our industry,” says CCSC Executive Director Ron Ahlert. “She always took the time to make us all look good in photos and in print. She was a Texan who always delivered the truth.”
Traxler died in March 2009 at age 57. To honor her memory, the Culinary School created the Mary Margaret Traxler Education Fund to continue her efforts to encourage culinarians to further their education.
