A Satterfield milestone

May 19, 2010

It was peak hour in the kitchen, but everybody stopped for a minute to honor a rookie culinarian who is on his way.

Charles Satterfield of Class 35 has been employed in the culinary industry for six months. That meant he qualified for the gift that awaits all graduates who succeed as culinarians after graduating: a knife set provided by Piedmont Natural Gas.

Satterfield was hired by Grateful Growers to do food preparation for the Harvest Moon Grille, the orange trailer that makes stops at farmers markets and at pedestrian gathering spots downtown. His work has him in the Distribution Street kitchen after Culinary School hours.

Congratulations to Charles Satterfield, and we look forward to seeing more Class 35 graduates back as they qualify for this recognition.
