Welcome good people. I am Chef Ron Ahlert, Executive Director of the Community Culinary School of Charlotte. CCSC is about recreating the legacy of adults who have experienced barriers to successful employment. We use the culinary arts as a conduit to a more productive lifestyle for our graduates.

We have graduated more then 600 students and our successful graduate list is longer than our less-than-successful grad list. Country clubs, restaurants, hospitals, assisted living facilities and fine dining establishments are a taste of the venues that use our graduates. We teach Serve Safe as well.

Being housed with Friendship Trays, the best meals-on-wheels program in the Southeast, allows students and alumni alike to fight hunger while creating opportunity.

We have a revenue-generating arm called Encore Catering, a full-service caterer. Encore supports the school by putting funds back into the program and allowing alumni and students a work venue to hone their skills.

Teaching skills and changing lives are only a part of what we do. I would like to invite you over for a look, taste and feel of The Community Culinary School of Charlotte.
